Still no way for making my MVH-2300NEX work with Android Auto.

Audio head unit make & model: MVH-2300NEX (firmware v8.02, can't get it to recognize the fat32 USB stick with firmware update to v8.21, might need to pull it out to directly access the USB port vs using my extension cable...) 

Android Auto app version: 3.5.583024-release

Google Play services version: 12.8.74 ((100400-204998136)
