|NEW google logo is not being scaled properly...||Anouk ben-tchavtchavadze||10/3/13 10:09 AM|
I guess this isnt really a question and more of an issue that erks me...
Saw the new logo and love it! Love google's simple and classy design and it's about time the logo reflected this change!
I am a User Interface designer so for me the details really matter.
This being said the new logo on the google home page is being scaled down and the letter L is being blurred.
The beauty of the logo is that it is crisp and clean, and by scaling it down like this it looks crappy.
Please fix this! I love the products you create, this is your company logo, dont screw with it...

I'm a web developer, and I noticed this too and it bugs me terribly! I love the updated logo, but the "L" in google needs to be as crisp as the rest of the logo.

I've checked this in five different browsers and I'm not seeing this on my display.
It could be an issue with your display — can you post a screenshot?
Is there a possibility that this could be related to chromatic aberration in your own eyesight?

It's definitely not the person's eyes, as you suggest. It's a problem with the image. It's probably more of a problem with your "eye" for these sorts of things. It's really something you wouldn't notice if you're not familiar with image creation for the web.
If you look on the corners of the l, it's quite a bit distorted. I've attached a screenshot marking the areas of concern.
