For those unimpressed with Google's generic approach to the Christmas holiday, you may appreciate Bing's website, which has an image of a Christian church and a link to Polish Nativity scene tradition, depicting the baby Jesus:

Merry Christmas!

Very nice thank you.... see Google it's not hard to just participate in the Christmas spirit..... you can do your 298th Birthday of the Inventor of the Shoelace next week.

I think Bing is playing it safe as well — "A perfect holiday scene"!

Well, unlike Google, their wording varies depending on the geographical region, and generally references the word Christmas. The link I posted was Bing Canada, there is also:

Bing USA - "perfect little holiday scene", but also, "At Christmastime, this city hosts tournaments with nativity scenes"

Bing France - "Joyeux Noel a tous" (Merry Christmas to all)

Bing Australia - "Christmas Day, have a wonderful time" (links to results page for Christmas Day activities)

Bing UK - "Happy Christmas, time for a singalong" (links to results page for Christmas songs)

Google, meanwhile, only mentions Christmas on their local sites in countries whereas Christmas is merely a Western import holiday, such as Japan and Korea.
