You have 34 pages indexed on Google.

Your home page has the word "Mumbai" SEVENTY-FIVE TIMES! This is definitely keyword stuffing and has probably caused a penalty. I'm surprised it's only happened in the last two days. Remove as many references as you can. For example, you don't need to say "this amazing Mumbai city" when you've beaten your readers over the head with the Mumbai stick so often already. "This amazing city" will do. The same applies on other pages.

You don't seem to have many backlinks but try to get the ones you have nofollowed in case that's causing a penalty too. Your web design company should definitely do this to its links to you on its site.

The solution is pretty self-evident from the criticism. Take out the massive amount of keywords and write content that sounds more natural and is better for the user to read.

It may start performing better if you make the necessary improvements, but nobody can say for certain. That's just an area where your site could be improved. If you can identify more areas to make things better than you should start performing better again as a result.

Re: Drop In Website Impressions By 60% LeePrice1986 2/11/14 2:44 AM
I don't think that would help. You aren't under penalty, you've just experienced a traffic drop due, at least in part, to the content not being great. Just improve the current site as you have been advised and be patient.
Re: Drop In Website Impressions By 60% OwnerEditor 2/11/14 3:37 AM
"I will make the relevant changes, but i never had this issue until today"

That could simply be because Google has only just noticed it. There are, I believe, over 100,000,000,000 pages on the internet and it would be very difficult to get round all of them on the same day ...

Re: Drop In Website Impressions By 60% Corruption Private 2/11/14 4:18 AM
If you set up an identical site at another address, and redirect there, you will still have the same problems.
Look at your keyword stuffing. Your title, description and keyword metatag are identical, and each have Mumbai 16 times! Same with tour and tours.
Heck, in http://www.grandmumbai.com/mumbai-day-tour.html it is on the actual page itself!

I also noticed some bad coding. Nothing major, but I didn't go over it closely.

Hang on, those pictures on the banner of the home page are interesting. Some look familiar from tourism ads. If the web design people used stock images, you may be getting penalized for duplicate material

I have not even glanced at your backlinks yet.

There's no search volume for those terms. It's an irrelevant term. Your site is poorly written. Fix it.

Same content on the home page? You're not getting it at all. I hope you have a backup plan.
Re: Revisit Content and Other meta Tags OwnerEditor 2/11/14 7:05 AM
I'm still seeing the same content on the home page too, even after a couple of refreshes. Are you sure you've uploaded it?

27 is better than 75 but probably still a bit high. I'll be interested to see the new version.

Re: Revisit Content and Other meta Tags Lysis 2/11/14 7:10 AM
Content isn't even sentences, so if he doesn't understand the issue, he's not gonna recover unless he hires someone or starts understanding.

Re: Revisit Content and Other meta Tags OwnerEditor 2/11/14 7:50 AM
I can see it now. Much better - you've obviously worked hard at this. You could still reduce the number of references to "Mumbai" - you definitely don't need it in "tourists who are looking for a Mumbai tour in this amazing and enchanting city".

"Tour", "tours" and "tourists" appear a total of 46 times. Try to bring that down too.

Also, while you undoubtedly speak English better than I speak any other language, I think you should have a native speaker (or someone completely fluent) look over the content and suggest alterations. It's a good effort but it could be better, and I think that would help the site.

Re: Revisit Content and Other meta Tags Corruption Private 2/11/14 8:50 AM
What they were describing is how things used to work.
The logic used to be that the more times a word showed up in a webpage, the more relevant it must be for that word. That lead to keyword stuffing which is not penalized, heavily.

One way to lower the excesive keyword could is to look at things like this:
<title>Grand Mumbai Tours - Mumbai Tours, Mumbai Tour Guides, Mumbai City Tours, Mumbai Shore Excursions, Mumbai Day Tour,
Mumbai Private Tour
</title>

If you instead presented it as something like this:
<title>Grand Mumbai Tours - Tour Guides, City and Shore Excursions, Day Evening and Night</title>

It would be better.

Also:
<meta name="author" content="grand mumbai tours">

<meta name="copyright" content="grand mumbai tours">

should be:
<meta name="author" content="grand mumbai"> <meta name="copyright" content="grand mumbai">

According to the copyright notice on the bottom of the page your business name does not have Tours as part of it.
Re: Revisit Content and Other meta Tags Corruption Private 2/11/14 8:54 AM
Oops, made a typo:

Should be:
That lead to keyword stuffing which is now penalized, heavily.

"I will try to bring down the number of instances the tour and Mumbai is written it wont affect my SEO's right?"

Yes, but in a good way! Corruption Private is right and the guy who gave you that information is wrong.

"When will my index page be indexed as starting point?"

I don't know and I don't think anyone else knows either. You just have to be patient about that.

I admire the amount of work you're putting into this and your willingness to improve the site. I really hope you do well.

Title, Keywords, Descriptions GrandMumbai MumbaiTours 2/11/14 9:46 AM
Hello Sir
From what i understand is that the Title Should be different

Keywords can be same? Or they should be different at each page? Keywords are all the words which can be typed in the search box right?, we can mention them at keywords bar right in the html code?
Are these the keywords i should focus on?

Photo attached

And description should be description of the page right? One more question is that is it necessary to have the same description in the page as well?

Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions OwnerEditor 2/11/14 9:55 AM
Open to correction by Lysis here, but I believe that WMT will show a manual penalty. It won't tell you that you've been given a low ranking because of problems on the site like keyword stuffing and, up to a point, excessive backlinks. That would be too easy :)
Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Lysis 2/11/14 9:57 AM
So, if your site is not good and the algorithm puts you at #20, is that a penalty or ranking naturally?

Who, me? Ranking naturally.
Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions OwnerEditor 2/11/14 10:12 AM
"What are backlinks?"

Links to your site from other sites. You don't have many of them at the moment so this isn't an issue yet. WHATEVER you do, no matter WHO tells you otherwise, do NOT ask anyone else to do this! That would be a disaster. Let the links come naturally.

Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Lysis 2/11/14 10:16 AM
Yep. I'm going to give Kevin's lecture: there really isn't an "algorithm penalty." The algorithm ranks sites from a number of factors. If there are 1,000 websites to rank for a term, being 999 doesn't mean a penalty. It just means from those factors you are ranking 999th.

This place is just a place where bad sites come to die while the owner tries to fight to keep it alive, but then the site just bleeds out and they go to website heaven. It makes it easy to just say "bad site...moving on," but there are some damn good sites out there that just can't move up because competition just has them beat by a little.
Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Free2Write 2/11/14 10:20 AM
The word penalty should be banned unless someone hears a whistle.

Use algorithm, manual action, or I hurt my website.

"It’s an algorithmic change, but when we use a word like 'penalty,' we’re talking about a manual action taken by the web spam team -- it wasn't that. ...  In fact, we don’t use the word 'penalty' much, we refer to things as a 'manual action.'" -- Matt Cutts

Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Lysis 2/11/14 10:25 AM
I sometimes wonder if they are trained to avoid the "p" word. :D They really don't use the term "penalty" and use "manual action." I try to remember to use that term, but penalty is so much easier to type. Damn I'm lazy.

"Do you have a skype?

Sorry, I don't have skype, and I'd prefer to keep the conversation on here. Apart from anything else it means you're more likely to great advice from other people.

"I see that after making the seo changes my website has dropped a bit more"

You won't see an immediate improvement. It's possible that Google has ranked you a little lower on the basis of the way your site was a few days ago. It may not have seen the changes. I wouldn't worry about this.
Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions OwnerEditor 2/11/14 10:34 AM
Definitely minimum repetitions on keywords.

Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Free2Write 2/11/14 11:12 AM
"Can i list all keywords? "

No. Please stop with the keywords already, please.

Write simple sentences using proper English grammar.

<meta name="description" content="Grand Mumbai Tours offers group and private tours of our city. Our experienced guides can help you enjoy shore excursions, our temples, festivals, and many other fun vacation moments." />

Re: Title, Keywords, Descriptions Free2Write 2/11/14 12:29 PM
No. Sheesh. Don't force any keywords anyplace.

Use a key idea to write a complete coherent sentence that gets the point across to your users.

<title>Grand Mumbai Tours. Experienced guides for sightseeing, group packages, private tours.</title>

Google ignores the keywords-meta-tag as far as we know.
