|Nexus 7 (2012) wifi not working after upgrading to 4.4.3||Lavanoid Volcanic||12/11/13 9:39 AM|
I've recently upgraded to Android 4.4.2 and now, when I'm downloading big files, or watchong HD content on youtube - the wifi adapter suddenly decides to restart. It's really frustrating having my data corrupted or having to restart a download because of an error. :/

Try starting your device in safe mode (instructions and info here) and not running any apps you've installed to test if one of them is causing the problem. If you don't experience the problem while in safe mode that's a good indication that an app you've installed is the source of your issue.

I've tried it and still no luck - it's as if the wifi adapter is struggling to stay active. I believe it's an error in the kernel that was intalled upon the update. It used to work perfectly. Might ditch Kitkat and go back to the good old 4.2 Jelly Bean - the version of Android that actually worked.

I have the exact same problem, it just disconnects randomly, and causes a lot of downloads to fail. It also, for some reason, wont connect to the hotspot being broadcasted from my phone. I didnt have any issues before 4.4.2
