Hi Mike, thanks for the update. To be clear is this solely a video manager display issue? Are our videos currently under review and its just not saying as such? Or after 24 hours from our last submission time if we haven't received an email or see ads are you saying we should resubmit it?

I cannot monetize videos since 3-4 days now. Always like 5 seconds under review than the button turns back to not monetized. This is really annoying and makes me crazy. I wonder how long it takes to fix that especially cause youtube also looses money through the missing ads to the tons of youtube partners.. I hope they will fix it asap -.-

@ProgressiveRhythm It seems to me that YT is constantly renovating these "bots" to develop the smallest margin of error with the maximum of accuracy...sort of like fumigating a house to exterminate bugs. The obvious problem is, a lot of videos that aren't "bugs" get killed as well, but they're just sacrifices for the greater cause...which apparently is to achieve near perfection in protecting copyrighted material in all its reincarnations while weeding out questionable, unidentified, or unverified material: which would be among the percentage of people who create 100% original content.
They have us both ways: if they match our content to something else (wrongly or otherwise), we no longer own the material. If they can't match our content, they tell us that they can't verify that we have all the necessary commercial rights to use that material, which again means that we don't own it.
Some time down the road I see the independent videomaker disappearing on YT and being replaced by the same news stations, recording companies, and production companies that banned them in the first place.

"The waiting is the hardest part" - oh yeah, at least if i would know that youtube is doing anything i could wait but they dont even need to update us. It seems like it is still a small percentage who has problems with those things otherwise they would do something. I dont believe that a company like google/youtube needs more than a week to fix a bug like that if they want to.
