|When did youtube start showing Boobs in Safe Mode?||Thos003||8/23/12 12:31 PM|
Do a search for "Alice and Dana" and the first clip is showing not only one woman's bare breast but another woman sucking the other side… IN JUST THE IMAGE PREVIEW.
The video has over 6 million views. A video with that number of views hasn’t just gone by unnoticed. A video with 5 to 100 views, maybe, but 6 million???? The comments should also raise some red flags. And if the comments alone were not enough, this video was flagged last week. Still no removal, and the minimal age restriction filter is still not applied. Hmmm… Seems YouTube missed the boat on the age restriction here. But wait, there are Notable Exceptions to this.
There are exceptions for some educational, artistic, documentary and scientific content (e.g. health education, documenting human rights issues, etc.)
So why do Dana and Alice get a pass on the “Partial nudity or non-sexual nudity” being age restricted? Which is it based on “human rights issues” or on the “educational” value of their nude clips?
All of the following Dana and Alice clips are showing on the first page in a “Safe Mode” search:
p.s. I flagged this video myself over a week ago. It’s status has not changed. It still shows even in "Safe Mode". They have filtered a lot of spammy comments on the video, but not the video itself.
Come on guys... someone over their isn't doing their job. If you want to keep the video for an age appropriate crowd then that's youtube's call, but I can't allow my kids on youtube if something like this is going to show up in safe mode.

You have the ability to flag all of those videos and since you have done that, there is not much else you can do.
I looked at all 4 and didn't see nudity.

None of your examples have six million views. I'm not watching all of them all the way through but what I did watch had no nudity (though one person flipped off another person). Is there a time when nudity actually occurs in any of those videos?
Safety Mode does not filter everything that might possibly offend anyone.
",,, please remember that this feature, though effective, is not 100 percent accurate and does not guarantee that all objectionable material will be filtered out."

BTW, "an age appropriate crowd" on YouTube is teenagers and older. That's what the site in intended for, that's what you must be to have your own channel, letting younger children use the site is not recommended, Safety Mode or not.

Didn't see any nudity but that might be because I can only watch crap like this for no more then 12 sec per day.

Heh-heh, a simple time stamp would have sufficed, but thanks for the porn. : )

http://www.youtube.com/results?q=alice+and+dana&hl=en&safe=active Look at the top result. The video viewing is now restricted, the thumbnail still shows nudity. ...or perhaps its just partial nudity since it's only one nipple instead of two.

Possibly the predicted result of allowing more custom thumbnails.

It's actually one of the 3 auto-generated thumbnails (#3 to be exact).

I may be mistaken, but aren't your issues "yours" and not every one else's?? Eye candy is sometimes a good thing. Also, kids should not be allowed free range on the internet for just this reason. If you want to hide the world from your kids, the net is the worse place to be.
