Rights of content after monetization johny seth 8/3/12 3:44 AM
Hi Team,

I've been offered the monetize my videos.

Before accepting the offer, I'd like to confirm few clauses in the terms
and conditions.

I'm an artist who also promote his songs and its contents via other media
sources such as TV channels, Music Distributors, online distributors etc.

If I accept the offer to monetize my videos with YouTube , would I still
maintain the rights to distribute my own content to other channels.

I had another query about  I viewing my videos myself. Is there any
particular restriction ?

I'd appreciate if I could be provided some more information about this
concern.

I look forward to hear back from you soon.

Thanks

Johny Seth

You maintain all rights to your own content even if you monetize.  You do need to be a little cautios when viewing your own vids - pre-roll ads may be counted as a "click"

Thanks Colette,

I've accepted the offer and my account is active for monetization now.

I submitted my video but they refused to accept as they asked for some extra information about the song.

I couldn't find any link or form to provide the requested information.

Could you please suggest something ?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

To my understanding there should be a link in the denial email to submit additional documentation
