How do I make the minus and/or plus sign a part of the search word and not somethings google search handles as a exclude/include tolken? codeinjection 10/23/12 1:26 AM
Hi!

This has been an frustrating issue a for a while now, even more when I work with linux systems whereas filenames start and end with various signs, "minus" / "-", being one of them.

Basically I found two copies of "passwd"; passwd and passwd- and I want to search and find out if it's safe enough to remove "passwd-" but google only gives me hits on "passwd" no matter how I make the keyword and I'm SURE that there's sites out there with people whom have asked the same question which I'm now looking for the answer to.

If it's impossible to search for such filenames then please in future versions of google search allow users to include the characters by typing somethings like "passwd\-" or "passwd[-]" or equally adequate system logic.
