Yo guys dude.. I moved to b*** from micro**ft...you know what I mean and I'm not single bit from their company but so far they never asked me for RECAPTCHA even single once. I keep using chrome, I just pick the option then change "search engine" to b*** they got other else like AOL or Yahoo search. I haven't tried others tho but so far b*** treated me well and as a human!!! Hope you guys got as better pleasure with others than Google search. Their PROGRAMMERS sucks and their manager don't listen to us . It's been a year since 2017 you've complaint and yet rather they fixed it, more and more disappointed customers posting here. ReCaptcha became a big pain in da ass because it is actually impossible to solve that captcha in one go.
The captcha starts over and over and over.
On average, I have to solve about 30 different pictures to get to the destination.
The old ReCaptcha was solvable for humans because you only had to enter a few words.
But this retarded one-click ReCaptcha shows pictures after pictures after pictures.
And there is no way to do something about it.
YESSS, remove this crap! I am not a robot, and no recatcha info is being sent to "prove I am not a computer" I do not wish to disable my VPN, so i suggest people stop using this search engine. Time to sell my stock and reinvest elsewhere.

Someone needs to organize a lawsuit against Google for creating this trash and how it is infesting the internet. I am being denied access to websites because ReCaptcha does not support dialup users. There are over 9,000,000 dialup users in the United States in 2018. Even with the latest browsers we cannot get past the Recaptcha because Google keeps telling us to "update our browser" They are effectively denying us access to portions of the internet with their system.

...and yes proper behavior/courtesy in a forum is important. I removed my messages and will act more respectful.. but look at all the posts here! This is such a serious problem to so many of us. Not hard to see why someone would come to this forum and start screaming with anger after spending 20-30 minutes trying to solve a Recaptcha, something that happens more and more often these days especially the last 4 months.
Its beyond frustrating. Funny too you single out my post and yet I look above mine and I actually blush when I see some of the language people are using. Whatever.. Truth is as vile as some of these words I see are? I feel that anger- its 100% justified to be this angry.
Anger against Google may well be justified, even a certain amount of profanity may be tolerated, particularly regarding such incredibly annoying issues as this.

Ok folks- I read a message the other day about a 'fix'. Its a crappy fix? but it works. I downloaded 5 new browsers. There are literally hundreds of them. Whenever a captcha comes up? I close it and reopen another browser. Each day I can use those browsers to get around the ReCaptcha. Throughout the day as a captcha comes up? I simply load another browser.
Lets face it- this is a SHITTY fix.. but lets also face it that Google is a corrupt, out of control monopoly that doesnt give a SHIT about us so we are forced to resort to other means. I am in contact with some folks that have software that fools the Re Captcha but id rather solve it in a way that doesn't put me at risk of Googles scumbag legal team.
I strongly suggest taking this step. It works. I no longer have to fill out a SINGLE fucking Google recaptcha.. and that alone makes it worth it knowing that I am essentially fucking them out of using me for free labor to facilitate their artificial intelligence program. After all, that IS what this recaptcha issue is about in case you dont realize it. Google is using us to teach their machines- and whats worse they dont even have the decency to fix problems with it because they dont care!~

Google's #ReCaptcha returns "failed" 95% of the time, it insults me and wastes my time when I have to click on postage stamps on 20 or 30 pages to get through to some business that uses that for " security". I never see less than 10 pages. I am forced to wait while the postage stamp I just clicked on leisurely thinks about regenerating a new pic and then finally does so usually after about 20 seconds. Once all the postage stamps are clicked and there are no buses or crosswalks or traffic lights in any of the almost imperceivable tiny pictures then instead of taking me through recaptcha requires that I go to another page and another page and another page and another page and by that time whatever website I'm trying to get into has timed out and the whole process must start over again as I have to reload whatever page I'm on. Google you suck. Where should I send my bill for all the hours I have spent being forced into using your defective reCaptcha? I will be threatening each business that uses ReCaptcha on their site that they lose my business until they remove reCaptcha

I try to register an account for a website which asks for verification that I'm human.
I'm presented with a tiled grid of an image asking me to select portions of the image which showed cars. Which I did. For tiles where a portion of a given car spanned across, I understand I am to select that too. Or not. Tried either way, and it immediately presents me with another image asking the same thing, again and again and again... IS THIS GOOGLE TRYING TO GET THE MASSES TO DO THEIR ANALYTICAL WORK FOR THEM LIKE THE OCR QUESTIONS PREVIOUSLY USED?

My problem started after a clean install of my entire operating system. The problem is that that OS was Arch Linux and therefore doesn't have all of Google and Microsoft's spyware that they use to "verify my humanity." This is a crackdown on privacy, plain and simple. Your fresh browser install only works because it has the latest analytics and tracking software enabled. if they can't get their shekels off of your browsing habits they'll lock you out of every web service they can, make no mistake. There is a reason Google removed "Don't be evil" as their company motto years ago.
I've been using Google since almost their Day 1, both search and when Gmail became available. I'm so burned out on this captcha stopping my search I did something a week ago that I now like. It took me a week of letting the uncomfortable feeling of not using Google Search wear off, and many times I was just upset and not comfortable that it was not Google I was using for search and it did not look the same. But after a week of using DuckDuckGo a weird thing happened. I still found 100% of what I was searching for, my searches always ended with success, the pain of not being comfortable with looking at something different wore off, and I adjusted. I don't change easily, but this worked out pretty good, and guess what, no more stupid Google anti-customer captcha. It's better now.

I implemented google Recaptcha at work due to security reasons and in hope to enhance and our site...shortly after its release, emails and calls come in constantly with customers complaining "WTF with your buggy site, it wont let me in and I did everything right".
Shortly after, I had to perform a hot fix and pull it off during business hours because of the heat I got for the buggy crap...and non technical people all think that it is my code and my bug....
GOOGLE, please respect your users and remove this flawed product that's called Recaptcha. You are harming all that use this product and it is not helping your GOOGLE brand. There are other ways to improve your AI system than using human as experimental rats.
After scanning through (most of) these posts it becomes apparent to me that nobody at Google visits or reads this forum.
It was only set up for users to vent. I realize that some issues are solved by volunteers, but Google doesn't participate or care.
I will be joining MANY other users and saying Goodbye to Google and all of it's products.

Google and its recaptcha can go and sucks Satan's balls! i moved to bing search and it's fantastic! it also allows you to download pictures directly. it doesn't suck the cock of Getty images like Google does. guys just give it a try to Bing, but set the safe search filter to moderate so that it gives meaningful and accurate results just like Google does. i love Bing and i will tell all my friends to use it until Google wise up a bit

Bullshit. When the problem is on every damn website it's obviously Google's fault.
recaptcha started as the best capcha system out there and since the
last year is the worst. Seriously, any site that has recaptcha causes
me to lose up to 15 minutes to login because I need to keep clicking
these goddamn uncountable recapcha images. Seriously, I can spend up to
15 minutes clicking images, what the hell is wrong with you!? I am NOT
here to train a shitty google robot!

is godawful crap. The "Its only a single click!" is complete and utter
bullshit. It was a single click, or even click less for about a month,
and after that it is just clicking slooooowww loading image after
sllooooowwwwlly loading image, test after test, and after 15 different
captcha tests, IM STILL CLICKING! Get rid of it!
And
seriously, who the hell thought it was a good idea to have those image
show up sloooowlly taking like 5 seconds to fade in? Are you seriously
just trying to annoy your users?
On a side
note: What the hell is going on with google? Everything just worked, so I
decided to start paying for it, and everything stopped working.
Hangouts? No longer works, I receive messages but I cannot send them.
Gmail? Lol.. It takes 5 minutes of waiting for loading so that an email
shows up, so I stopped using it. Youtube? Well, I can watch around 20
videos and then youtube has sent me around 20.000 cookies, causing bad
requests... I need to clear all cookies, which causes me to be logged
out,m so I need to login again and I can watch some videos again. Even
google search stopped giving any reasonable results. recaptcha is
obviously crap. Google wallet? Hah! Try making payments in a reasonable
way with google. Cant even give you my money if I try to. I have to be
on phone calls for hours to get payments setup, great going google! I
went from paying for google services to stop using all of them within 3
months. The only one left that I use is youtube and that is because the
material is not available on other platforms, but I'm looking for
options to remove that too.
EDIT: Hah! Even replying in this forum is crap! I post the reply.. and it fails.. This would be laughably bad if it wasn't so sad that a company like google cannot have a single service work reliable.. If you can read this, this was my 3rd attempt and it worked, yay!

I have been using Firefox for several months now ONLY because of this issue. Every few weeks I try chrome again, but as soon as I see those pictures, I'm out of there. I have better things to do for ten minutes then sit there trying to pick enough right answers.

I never hated google before but you crossed a line your should never have.
ReCAPTCHA USED TO BE quick and fun. But in the past year --- just in the past week I've gotten one recaptcha that took seven screens worth of pictures and another that took 10 screens worth of pictures. And one of those was just to change my email address on a Google Group, so don't try to claim it's because third-parties have it set up wrong on their sites. And of course the pictures fade in incredibly slowly, and half the time the ReCaptcha loading itself times out before I can complete the tasks. Plus the tasks themselves have gotten too hard -- I can't tell whether there's a storefront in that picture! It's a tiny picture of a faraway building and storefronts look like a million different things! The bus one is fairly easy -- but it got old after the first dozen times I had to do it. I'm not for profanity-laden rants -- but it's pretty hard to disagree with the ones here.

It is rare for a piece of software to inspire me to fantasize about murdering everyone who uses it, everyone who coded it, everyone who approved it, everyone who even for a minute imagined it was a reasonable solution to anything. I am close to a one-strike-you're-out policy: any site that uses recaptcha I will embargo forever, delete my accounts from, and move on to another site that is not run by complete assholes.
It, seriously, is beyond a joke how long it takes to navigate this POS software. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Start boycotting the sites that use it and inform the site owners why you will no longer use their site. If Google won't do anything about it then starve the site owners of hits. Even better if these sites rely on hits for advertising revenue. Only problem is to contact them, guess what? You have to validate a bloody captcha to send them an email. Email all your contacts, friends etc and ask them to do the same.

Its making me hate your company. I understand the need for recaptcha etc., but the way you guys have it operating is basically asinine. I don't want to verify 80 times a day that I am not a bot. I don't want to wait 3 seconds for the pics to load in a recaptcha, only to do it 3 more times. I am sick of choosing the same fucking traffic lights, the same fucking crosswalks and the same fucking storefront motorbike horse shit etc, at least 10 times a day. Lastly, after I do recaptcha, if I am not using Chrome.. AFTER I GO THROUGH ALL YOUR FUCKING HOOPS, it states "There is a server side issue with Recaptcha authentication, please try again later."

Pretty amazing. I've been working with computers since 1981. When Google began creating all these wonderful apps and api's and maps I begain to wonder, "What happens when they get huge? Well, here they are. Google's RECAPTCHA is a disaster but the big, once helpful,Google-zilla just keeps lumbering along. It's too big to hear you. It's ears are 400 feet in the air and it's swatting at airplanes, while eyeing other monsters its own size. Their goal of helping others so as to grow is forgotten.
Recaptcha really needs to be sunset... I know that the difficulty needs to be scaled as smarter and more efficient bots are created, but it's at a point where it is hurting the consumers by making what should be a simple experiences extremely difficult.
Please, either tune back a few years to check for basic movement/touch gestures and make it easier for everyone else, or just sunset the product entirely. I literally spent over an hour trying to log onto a site using Recaptcha - the most frustrating moment is having had the password wrong the whole time but not even knowing and doing like a solid 30 minutes of this charade...
