Exact Image Size search Miltos Vafiadis 11/6/12 2:47 AM
The exact image search dissappeared for me today as well, and the "advanced" search options only provide "larger than xx".  Any way I can have back the old option?

Will be extremely dissappointed with google if they don't put back the exact size search option.  Maybe it is wanting to make it dumb simple, but maybe this has something to do with copyrights of images, and google wanting to actually make it more difficult to find images...

The interface does not help me, for example, when I search for images exactly 16x16px... I can turn on image sizes, but then I have to scroll a lot...

Yes I tried, it doesn't work... don't know if there's some special syntax for it...

Hi all,

Thanks for checking in about this. We're aware that the exact image search no longer appears in the new layout. We're currently working on implementing new features like the one you describe, and will check back in with any updates.

Thanks,

Kousha

The removal of the "exact size" search function is imperative for me to readily compile effective lesson presentations for my students! I do not want to expend hours cropping pictures for powerpoint. That time can be utilized to better prepare to provide students with efficacious lessons!

Thanks,
Dr. E.
