|Google Images, subsequent searches problem (Chrome)||snaredrum99||8/22/12 6:47 AM|
On Chrome: From Google's main search screen or from Google Images search, I enter a query. The images appear with no problems.. But then I try to change the search term, and nothing happens... pressing enter, clicking the camera or magnifying glass icons, clicking on one of the drop-down suggestions, clearing the field and retyping... nothing. The original thumbnails remain on the screen. I'm having to "back out" and start over for each new query. I've attempted this on several different computers in our building, I experimented with tweaking the search settings, etc.
On IE, all is well, but we love Chrome. Any ideas?

To help me figure out what's going on, would you mind filling out the form available on this page? Once there, follow these directions:
Hope we can get to the bottom of this!

Thanks Albert. I just sent it in. Here's what I sent...
"With no extensions running, and when searching on Google Images...
- I type in a term (such as "dog"), press enter or click the search icon, and I see the thumbnail results.
- I then type a new query in the search field (such as "cat") press enter or click the search icon, and nothing happens. I still see the dog results. The screen seems to flicker briefly, but the results do not change. If I want to see new results, I have to go back to the main search screen.
This only happens on Chrome. IE works great. I've heard from a couple of friends that this also happens on G+."

Have you tried doing this in an incognito window?

Yes I have. Incognito makes no difference.
