|Trojan Virus on Google Search (not the resulting pages, the SEARCH)||coaleb||6/12/12 10:23 AM|
This is neither a discussion nor a question, but since Google's "feedback" is so poorly implemented, this is the best I can do.
Basically, I did a basic Google search for "brushed aluminum vector" and my Avast Anti-Virus popped up and said it had blocked a Trojan Virus, and I had not even visited any of the pages in the search result yet!
Avast reports the offending site as:
Which leads me to believe that it was one of their paid advertisers who is trying (probably not intentionally) to infect users of the Google search service.
If there are any Google employees on here, please pass this on to the appropriate department and let's clean this up before it gets out of hand!

Thanks for the heads up, I reported it there, too.
