This has happened before.

Try giving it a few days or a week to see if the structured data count increases again.

You have errors in the markup of your products pages. For example, you have added a "video" property for a product item type. As you can see in http://schema.org/Product, there is no "video" property for this kind of item. This cause a error in the rich snippets testing tool and maybe in the way Google bot indexs the structured data of your site, see http://www.google.es/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hdtvsupply.com%2F8x9-hdmi-matrix-switcher.html%23axzz2d4SRXEHk

Same here - 1,873 items lost. Google ,this seems to be a wide-spread issue. Can you please respond?

Hi Dan!! The original poster of this thread has a error in his/her markup (see my previous message). If you post the url of your site I can check your site.

I have the same problems. It's happened to 4 of my 9 sites that are using the Schema.org markup. Never a problem or "item with error" before... just there one day and gone the next from the Structured Data Items in WMT.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? Dan - Basco 8/26/13 9:08 AM
Hi Cybnet! Thank you kindly for the offer, but I can say with certainty that we have not changed any code on the site.

Also - if that's the case, why would all products not be affected? It seems like many here are saying only 1% or less or their structured data links remain.

I haven't changed my structured data either and it was fine until a few days ago so it isn't an error problem on the websites.

Whoever that gave me the down vote need to only search the forum for June 7 and June 11 updates to know what I am talking about.

On top of that, I too experienced the sudden drop in structured data at that time and the count came back up where it was a few days later.

I wouldn't have suggested waiting if I did not have prior experience or knowledge.

Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? dj1980 8/27/13 3:50 AM
Forgive me but that is a little silly isn't it? What good does it do to create 10 new threads on the same topic for 10 people? You aren't going to find the answers there,  It isn't a problem with the websites who all were running,  it more than likely the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.  Probably somewhere they've changed something at Google's end and haven't informed anyone, you're looking in the wrong place for the answers.  You can take a look at mine for what good it is going to do I didn't do the structured data, my theme designer did so all 3000 sites who use his theme have the same problem and probably the other theme designer for my other site as well I haven't looked he's got another x,0000.  http://www.chapinleather.com  Thanks

Hi dj1980, you also have errors in your markup. The schema.org markup in your pages seems ok but you are also using hatom-feed markup and your hatom-feed markup has errors. You can see details here (scroll down until you find the error message): http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chapinleather.com%2Fshop%2Fleather-messenger-bag-laptop-bag-custom-macbook-air-pro-13-monogrammed%2F

As for now, all of the people in this thread who is reporting problems has errors in their markup.

Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? dj1980 8/27/13 5:37 AM
Hatom feed is not the same a structured data so my structured data has no errors and this is a Google verified site so that isn't really an issue with the structured data.  Hatom feeds  do NOT require all fields be filled out you offer this service to those who wish to have updates on your shop (ie subscribers) I'll just block it from the robots in robot.txt  Feed and structured data are two different things.  So no this site has no issues with its structured data.  If Google is insisting on riding herd on all aspects of a website then it needs to separate apples from oranges.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? lcurr 8/27/13 4:29 PM
A poster has just updated his thread saying that his structured data count is back up. Mine too fell slightly on Aug 23 and is now back up.

My suggestion is that if anyone experienced a traffic fall at the same time and traffic does not improve soon or if structured data count is still down after waiting say, around a week, you should do what Brian has said and start a new thread because there are probably other issues with your site than simply the structured data count falling.

I had the drop back in July too.  But mine never came back.  Went from 60 to zero, then to 3 for several weeks.  I used the highlighting tool and spent some time researching structured data and got back to 20ish and then a few days ago back to zero again.

Feel like giving up
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? willdotcom 8/27/13 11:47 PM
Hold on .... I just checked my data and it's jumped back to higher than it was back in July to 65!  The issue has been fixed for me.  Yay.  Now only 2000+ 404 errors to fix
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? Maciej Konkol 8/27/13 11:51 PM
I confirm that everything is ok again. Must have been some google issue.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? LarryEngel 8/28/13 5:12 AM
Mine is fixed and back to normal as well. Did Google ever admit to anything on this? It would be nice to let us concerned webmasters know when there are issues and fixes.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? Dan - Basco 8/28/13 6:07 AM
It looks like the update from 8/23 was deleted from webmaster tools. So they know - and they did something to fix it.. I'm not sure why they can't take 10 seconds to reply.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? Pantelis 8/28/13 6:16 AM
Do structured data goes together with impressions and traffic? I am experiencing a traffic drop more than 60%. My structured data issue is fixed.
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? JohnMu 8/28/13 6:43 AM
Thanks for your patience, everyone! It looks like this should be resolved in the meantime.

The reporting of the structured data found on your site wouldn't be related to any change you'd see in your site's visibility in search, so if you're seeing changes there, that would generally be due to something else (and you might want to start a thread separately about it).

Cheers
John

Is anyone above still having issues?
Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? David Sutton 7 9/3/13 8:11 PM
My structured data has recovered but my traffic is still down to about 150 per day from 1200 per day and my search engine rankings have not recovered at all. Should I start a separate thread about this?

Here my other topic and answers from "specialists" . . https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/webmasters/vEks61p5TTs/q-1K9XXIBGAJ

Re: My Structured Data has drooped to zero from over 3,000, what can I do? lcurr 9/17/13 8:30 PM
@GermanMarkov, you should stick to that thread. Anyway, your thread was already answered by Lysis and Paul, yep, both of whom ARE specialists and both gave you very clear answers about what was wrong with your site.

Lysis and Paul answered other my problem .In this theme discuss structure data and why she is broken.

This seems to be resolved for everyone else? I'm still waiting for my product data to come back. I haven't changed the structure of the site, and the Structured Data Test Tool shows product information. I should have ~350 products showing. :/

Hi all,

At least not for me either.

I run 3 websites with rich-snippets (2 of them really simple, but the third with about 5000 pages with snippet data) and all of them are counting at zero in structured data.

Has anybody got any update?

Thanks folks!

There seems to be a issue with Google Webmaster tools.  The system is having problems.  Some people are seeing no crawl for 10 days or more or  data is just not showing up for the last few weeks.  Engineering is working on it google.
