With the addition of Google Glass into the marketplace in the near future, how is google going to work with the privacy of the population?
Basically everyone with Google Glass will have a Closed Camera Television on their head, (CCTV) and have the ability to broadcast their "vision" to the world.
What if someone does not feel comfortable being broadcasted nationally?

Police are starting to wear cameras and there are enough CCTV's that if you go to Vegas for 2 days that you show up on over 20k cameras. So if you are that worried about privacy then I would stay inside your home. Just think the last time you went somewhere popular and there were people taking photos, I am sure you showed up in many of the backgrounds of others photos.

I'ma use it to look at people's butts.

And let's not forget the cameras that are set up to just sit there and track license plates all day; or on police cars doing the same (and no, those aren't the regular dash cams). There are two really large networks of every-day tracking data that repo agents pay for and use every single day to establish patterns and complete contracts quicker.
At least Google glass will get Lysis some quality butt pictures to wallpaper her basement and/or attic with -whichever is creepier.

Think of the children, man! The children! Google Glass will rot your brains!

I think we all know that Google Glass will probably wind up being used mostly for teenagers taking pictures of their coffee and maybe a few of shoes standing in a circle.

Well, if Google Glass doesn't have a way to post to Facebook , I'm sure like half the population won't even know how to use them.

Oh, it will, trust me and instagram and other sites as well.

How about adding a LED status light to google glass, so people can see, whether the camera (the primary privacy concern) is on / recording?
LED off = cam off
This would enable the environment to react to google glass wearers behaviour in the respective social context.

I cannot wait to wear mine, just be civil in front of people and you will be safe.

Privacy issue is a major concern with Google Glass. But i think there can be many developments made in the future. For instance there should be a LED indicator built in on Google Glass, so that in case of someone taking a picture or video recording it'll light up and people will know. Thanks
