Looks like you're telling the googlebot not to show a snippet:

<meta name="googlebot" content="index,follow,nosnippet,archive" />

From Google:  http://googleblog.blogspot.ca/2007/02/robots-exclusion-protocol.html

That's a new one for me; didn't know there was a "nosnippet".  I could be misinterpreting what "nosnippet" means, but it does seem like this is the problem.

Shame on me. That sounds pretty logical. I will give it a try. Love you ;)

Suzanneh is exactly right.

Normally when you don't see a snippet, it's because someone blocked the site in robots.txt. It happened often enough (and it was often a mistake) that we started showing a phrase like "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt" in the snippet instead of leaving it blank. In this case, since it was because of a meta tag, that didn't show in the snippet.

I've already made suggested change in meta tag. It will take probably week or so at least to see the results with description, right? Thank you again for your time and sorry for my foolish mistake. I appreciate it a lot.

I'm already seeing the description! :-)

Everybody makes these kinds of mistakes at one time or another.  I've seen seasoned webmasters come in here and realize they inadvertently put in a "noindex" somewhere.  Sometimes it's the little things that throw us off. :-)

Can I quote you on that to my significant other? And change "exactly" to "always"?   ;-)
