What "pattern"? Can you describe what you want in the description box (because there is more space than in the title)?

Assuming by pattern, you don't mean repeating 3d ornaments, and you don't mean repeating textures (those repeat always), probably you have used "Image Entities" instead of "textured materials". The best way is to use a textured material, because once applied to a face, they fill the whole face.

You can create a textured material either
  • in the material browser (Window → Materials) by clicking the + button, then Edit and choose the image from the file selection
  • or by importing an image directly as texture in File → Import → select image file and choose "as texture" instead of "as image"
  • or by right-clicking on your imported image and choosing "explode". This will break down the "Image Entity" into a textured rectangle and four edges. You might want to clean up what you don't need, and use the Paint Bucket while holding the [Alt] key to transfer the texture to neighbouring faces.
