Native Linux support please... I have to assume it's coming at some point because of ChromeOS... even if Google delivers Sketchup as a web-based service to Chrome that would mean either running on Windows on the back-end, or porting it to Linux.  Does Google want to pay Microsoft royalties?  I didn't think so.
It just seems to make more sense porting it.
But when?

SketchUp is very firmly a Windows and MacOS based application, originally developed by a different firm. I understand that the development of SU is financed by its paying users (like me),so creating a free version for an additional platform would perhaps not pay itself back. Isn't Linux about the user community developing the applications themselves?
