Hi renec2006,

This is a frequently discussed topic, and I recognize how useful it would be for folks to gave SketchUp running natively on their OS of choice. Unfortunately, there is little chance that we'll be able to devote the kind of development resources required to make a native client port of SketchUp to your favorite Linux distro. Luckily, SketchUp runs reasonably well in Wine– and there are a number of folks on this forum who can help you get that configured.
