|Is there a way to organize my sites in the site managment list?||kamend||6/16/12 7:32 PM|
I need a way to create folders of different sites I want to look at in my site list page. There is a growing list of student sites and my created sites. I now want students to create portfolio sites, but I can't imagine how messy that will end up being. Is there a way to collect all sites of a particular topic in folders, like google docs has in the collection settings?

I am using Google Sites to create collaborative work environments for projects, and there are lots of them! I have ended up creating another site to link to the project sites, so that people don't get lost. But folders would be good. It works very well in Google Drive.

Try using a Google Form to collect links to student portfolio sites. Here is a sample -You can customize the fields in your own form to reflect class period, course section, or any additional info you need to collect.
Form responses are sent to a spreadsheet in your Google Docs (or Drive) so you can then sort by student or by class period, etc. to quickly find the site you are looking for.
