Providing the following information will help us troubleshoot your issue:
The address (URL) of your Google Site: ‎
Browser / Operating System (Mac OSX)

I am trying to create a slideshow to act as a banner near the top of my site. I want it to do exactly what this website does:

I also don't want the option of pausing the slideshow. I want to keep it clean and professional looking. I also have pictures that are wide but not tall. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Are there any gadgets that would work? I have browsed around this site but haven't found a gadget that has worked.

See the link below for picassa slide show.

For more just look in the navigation bar at left.

That's not exactly what I am looking for. I want to avoid being able to click on the slideshow and be sent to picasa. I want to avoid the play/pause buttons. I also want it to constantly loop. Any other ideas?

Try Steegle's gadget.

The slideshow does not link to the album, displays captions (if present) plays automatically and loops.

Im getting closer, but still not exactly where I want to be. Thank you for the suggestions thus far. Here is what I have:

Right now there is a scroll bar on the slideshow. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

@asthut: So have you found your solution yet? I was looking for something like this - without links to Picasa - and stumbled into Prac's RSS-feed based idea that worked like a charm for me. I can't be thankful to this guy enough for his ingenuity and clever tricks when it comes to google sites.
