Has support for windows mobile 2003 devices been discontinued by google? I can no longer sync, search and gmail is very slow on my ipaq4155. All of which I could do until a couple of weeks ago. All I seem to get when trying to search is a box inviting download of files called either m or search to My Documents which seems not to be supported by the OS. Is there a version of m or search compiled for WM2003? Or is this a login error?
WM5 works fine but WM2003 no longer. Apart from anything related to google everything else works just as it always did and other sites download rapidly

I finally received an error message from active sync which tells me that the m.google server does not support the software on my device after sitting waiting for ten minutes. But it did a couple of weeks back AND it also supported my use of all the google services without very long delays. Presumably some-one at Mountain View has pulled support for WM2003.
At least I do get a normal search speed from Bing which is blindingly fast but I would rather have google back again. Even gmail is painfully slow.
I have also discovered that similar speed problems occur using WM5 but oddly only using WiFi. Using GPRS still works fine and sync via active sync works very rapidly via both GPRS and Wifi.
Can anyone explain please?
