|Google Chat doesn't work in Iphone 4 Safari browser||hawtzombie||7/24/12 2:46 PM|
I have tried numerous times to use www.google.com/talk for Google Talk on my iPhone 4 Safari browser and all it links me to is a Google Support page that talks about what Google offers. I have tried many Gtalk apps and frankly can't stand any of them. Either they don't notify me or sign me out continuously. I have allowed cookies and I just don't know what else I need to do...Any suggestions? I have attached the screen that it defaults to everytime.

Have you tried chatting using Google + Hangouts?

I'm having the same problem

We are shutting down the mobile web app for Google Talk. For mobile users who want to continue using Google Talk, we recommend using the native Google Talk app on Android or any XMPP-compliant apps on iOS or other mobile platforms. We are working hard on some new and exciting updates to chat in the future, so keep an eye out!
Thanks for your understanding!

yea I'm having the same problem, super annoying!! so, what you are saying is, that there is no way to use gchat on your iphone without downloading a 3rd party application? frankly all of which suck ... why is google making it impossible to use their own gchat service???

You may have noticed that Google Video/Chat has been replaced with Google + Hangouts and of which now appears in Gmail.
