|Donwloading full report for product feed is not seems to be correct||readersdigest||4/24/12 8:58 AM|
After uploading product feed. It is showing some warning messages. When click download the full report. In CSV, there was a tab snippet. I am not able to see the full feed and pid seems to be incorrect.
Please let me know from where and how can I get the correct CSV report.
Refer the attached csv. It has 343 products. It is showing 368 product affected.

use a test-feed to fix the indicated issues --
be certain the test feed name ends in .xml
google will not necessarily show all issues.
otherwise, attach a copy of the feed file
here in the public forum so we can look
at the issue.
otherwise, google may be contacted here:

Here is the both files. One is feed file with product_STOH_google.xml and another one is CSV report file for the same.
Yes, I used test feed for the same.

google seems to be reporting the same
line/id because that xml feed is all on one
single contiguous line without any breaks
between attributes, elements, or entries.
the choices are either to submit the
same feed content but formatted better --
with line-breaks between xml elements --
or, to ignore the line/id values and
interpret where the issues might be
by inspecting the snippet.
i would consider simply inspecting each item --
(1) add a valid google_product_category
value for all items in the data-feed and
(2) be certain valid and correct global-trade values
are submitted or that an exemption has been given
if valid global-trade data does not exist for an item.
for example, a book should use a google_product_category under
Media > Books
and a book requires a valid gtin (isbn) or an exemption from google --
note that warnings usually must be hand-inspected
to verify if there is an issue or not; google's warnings
do not always mean an issue exists -- for example,
a book requires only a gtin (isbn) but a missing mpn
or brand may also be flagged.
as an aside, using simple sequential id values (1,2,3,...)
is usually not a good idea -- but if used, be absolutely
certain that the id value sticks with the item forever
and is never reused for any other item.
