|Have Requirements Changed in That You Now Can Submit Multiple Channels for Same Store and Products?||MOTLEYMUTT||8/7/12 8:03 AM|
Finding many products that will show with the button to see more for all stores that list that product. Click on Compare Prices Button and store listings appear. Seeing many show in one listing Buy.com - Wayfair, Sears MarketPlace -Wayfair and then Wayfair. Same product listed via multiple channels, the store itself and the channels it advertising or sells with. Used to be Marketplace feeds only if listed with a market place. Has this changed? If so please advise, we would like to partake in this if now allowed.

there has been no such announced changes.
seeing any item within google-shopping does not
necessarily indicate any acceptance or approval
by google -- google may disapprove an item, feed,
account, marketplace sub-account, or website at any
time including any time after items have been listed.

Thank you Celebird.
We are actually finding Wayfair listed on their own, with Buy.com, with Sears, and Walmart as well. Same items.. prices differ surely due to having to pay the market places. It seems very spammy and since this is all now CPC it is upsetting to a small fry like our store to have to complete with such a vendor. We are sorry, our store does not police the internet for this sort of thing and will not report on it, we simply do not have such resources in place. This post was to simply find out if something has changed as we too would take advantage of listing our products via multiple channels....having the same advantage of a vendor like Wayfair and taking entire pages of results as a result. This, BYW, has always been Wayfair's practices but with the new changes was surprised to see it continue and we honestly thought it may be permitted.

first, you're welcome.
changes are usually announced by google in google's forums,
google's blogs, or detailed within google's support articles.
for clarification, google may also be contacted directly here:
google is the final arbiter of all such issues.
