Flights out of CUN all wrong.... am i doing something wrong? caldwell68 3/26/12 2:04 PM
Hi I keep looking for flights out of CUN as i just bought a home there, and all flights keep coming up in the thousands of dollars range. I check on Kayak and they are much lower... for example a one way fare from CUN to LAX is $225 on UA on Kayak, but when i check on ITA it gives me atleast $2-3K for a one way flight.... Not sure what i'm doing wrong :(

By default flights are priced in the currency of the country of origin, in this case Mexico. So the prices you see are in MXN - Mexican Pesos. If you would like to see prices in USD instead, enter "USD" in the "Currency" input field on the advanced search form.

If you are planning to buy the tickets from the US, you might also (or instead) want to enter a US location (such as "LAX") as the "sales city". The difference is that we just convert MXN into USD, if you don't enter a sales city in the US, whereas we use the sales city to determine the correct fare for a sale in the US, if you do enter a US city. Sometimes the result is the same, sometimes it is different.
