How I can search for boing 777 for exemple?

Sorry, we don't currently support search by type of aircraft.

Has this been partially implemented now? Syntax /aircraft 744 throws error "SLICE-PERMITTED-AIRCRAFT: '744' is not an Aircraft"
Referenced from http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/travel-tools/727849-ita-search-equipment-type-2.html (post on the first page from user ITA Hacker a few years ago saying you'd look into it).

There is in fact a routing code that lets you restrict the search to a type of aircraft.
To only return flights on a 744 (i.e. a Boeing 747-400), you can specify "/ aircraft t:744" (without the quotes) in the advanced routing code input field.
You can also use "/ aircraft c:jet" to restrict the search to jets (as opposed to turboprop planes, say).

Is there a way to search multiple types of aircraft?
/ aircraft t:737 | t:a320

Is there a way to search aircraft type by segment? For instance, any routing that includes at least 1 aircraft type as a 787?

No, sorry, that is not possible, or rather only to the extent that you can split up the itinerary into individual flights using the multi-city option and then specify which flight(s) you want to be on a specific aircraft.

Would there be a way to add this functionality in the future? Maybe as another optional field per segment. Like
So any United operated flight that has a 787 on the 1st segment between DEN and IAH...
DEN:: o:ua:787 IAH o:ua AUS
