Browser history flooding with new maps preview Syed Nisar Ul Haq 5/16/13 5:53 PM
In new google maps, it is saving browser history for even a single click. This way, browser history is flooding. I don't think many people will like it. I have attached an image of my Browser history how it is flooding. Please solve this issue.
Thanks

Thanks for the report, I'll be sure to pass this along to the team.

It looks to me as if it's an intentional feature, in that it makes a unique url for any directions search to make it easier to share or the like. Perhaps the best fix would actually be an overhaul of the chrome history to allow group by domain or something which is badly needed either way.

Agreed, Leviukus. Chrome's history has always been one thing that has legitimately annoyed me about the browser. It's really bad, and it's terrible at searching history for stuff I want (for some reason it can't even find facebook.com properly). So I think Google should take this as a good excuse to do some work on it, whether or not this is a bug.
