|Why won't google delete a review on my page about a different business?||Alyx Del Re||6/16/12 10:07 AM|
A review of a restaurant which has a similar name (completely different state, however!) was improperly tagged to my address; it originally came from urbanspoon.com. When we realized the inaccuracy, we contacted Urban Spoon, and they were very helpful and prompt in removing the review from our page. I have been reporting the problem to google, asking them to remove the review; every response to my request has been a phone call from google maps, verifying my address. When I explain what the reported problem is, I am told I can take care of that myself… No, I can't. If I could, it would have been resolved nearly two weeks ago. How on earth to I get them to take down the review? At this juncture, I've given them plenty of notice that this is a review that has nothing to do with my restaurant, and I'm begining to consider it libel. I really don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with attorneys, but I really don't know what to do.

It has been a while that Local listings only link to the web site of third party review sites, they are no longer published directly on the Local page anymore.
Could you please provide a link to the page where you see the incorrect review.
