|Many roads are mislabeled as "U.S. Route X in State Y."||drew870mitchell||4/28/12 7:19 PM|
I use Google Maps for fun a lot of the time, planning virtual trips, seeing other parts of the country, or looking at the area around news stories to get a better understanding of them, probably 3+ hours a week. This is on Chrome on OS X but it's no different for Firefox: I've been seeing many US highways double-labelled as "U.S. Route X in [Different State]."
I saw it enough to finally attach an example: on this stretch of US 20 near Wakeman, Ohio, you see "U.S. Route 20 in Illinois" and "U.S. Route 20 in Nebraska" (to see it yourself, search for Gore Orphanage Road, and go 1 km north).
No other problems with the product.

Some other guy sees the same problem with U.S. Route 30:

You could report the incorrect route labels directly to Google using the Report a problem link at the bottom right corner of the map.
