Using Google Places to properly locate an address location in Google maps gd003 5/24/12 4:11 AM
Seems strange that despite entering the exact same address listed in Google Places. Google Maps points to another location.
Here is an example:
14910 Fm 1825 Pflugerville, TX 78660
Instead of correctly pointing to a Jack in the Box restaurant, the location pointer is pointing to something a block away.
None of the alternate address suggestions seem to correctly point to it either.
Why can't Google check it's own Places database to correctly locate the Map pointer?

The addresses are only approximate on Google Maps, even large urban areas sometimes do not have precise address locations.

The location of the address is still waiting for approval in Map Maker and will eventually be updated on Google Maps to match the information on Google Places.
