Way to clear/delete instant upload photos? user1 7/10/11 1:59 PM
I was wondering if there is a way to clear or remove the photos that have been instantly uploaded to G+.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Click Photos, then click Instant Uploads, then click the photo you want to delete. Then click Actions > Delete this photo.

Or to delete all, you can try clicking Instant Uploads, then Actions > Delete this album

There is no instant upload button anywhere in the photo tab. You're talking about the web not mobile right?

Go to ur picasa site. To do that go to ur google+ page, then on the top bar, click on photos, then navigate to the album the pic u want to remove and delete it.

Hi Fred Pacheco,

To clarify, the Instant Upload album is private, so no one should be able to see any of these photos unless you choose to share one in a post. You can edit the contents of this album anytime - just navigate to the Photos tab in Google+ and choose Photos from your phone on the left hand side. Then you can click on any photos to highlight them and choose Delete from the options across the top. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best,
Sky

Hello,

I've been sent a photo album 4 times ( all the same) on my Google+ (through Picasa). I would like to remove each of them after having seen all the photos, because they don't serve any purpose any more.
i would also remove an album which I uploaded myself and has in the meantime been viewed by all the recipients.
How to proceed?
Thanks.

Hi Arty,
You must be referring to the "Photos from your Circles" page.  There is no delete feature to remove photos from that page at the moment.  What I suggest is that you go to that page and click on the Send feedback link at the bottom right and let the Google Team know that a delete feature on that page would be super.  They do collect suggestion from that feedback process so please do give it a try.

On an album you have shared, that sharing would also appear in a post.  Correct.  You can delete that post and that will kill the share.  You can still delete the album later if you still want to do so.

Go to the Photos tab in Google+ and choose Your Albums.  Navigate to the album and use Options => Delete.  Process is similar to what Sky mentioned above.

I have a Motorola xoom table. Under the gallery icon there is a folder "instant upload" I cannot delete this folder nor the individual photos contained therein. I have tried using adtro file manager but still no luck. Can someone tell me how to delete this folder?

No matter if it is private or not. I want to delete these photos from this folder.

The problem is that I got a kazillion photos uploaded without me knowing when I upgraded my phone to ICS which incidentally came with Google+ on my GT-N7000. How am I supposed to multiselect them one by one???

nvm, I found a solution here:

It involves dragging an area with keyboard shortcuts.
Hope you can improve on this convoluted method.
At the very least, make CTRL+A / SHIFT + CLICK works
