I've a big problem with my Gmail account. My problem is not with the password, but my problem is with the passcode that should be sent to my mobile, in other words my problem is with step 2 verification.
When I open Gmail and enter my password, I do not receive the verification code to my mobile and I get this massage:
"An unexpected error occured while sending your passcode. Please use a code generated by your mobile application or try again later"
I tried to get a solution but Gmail asked me to fill a recovery form and when I did so I got normal responses and today they asked me to create a new account. This is so so so so frustrated as I need to retrieve the documents and information I need from my Gmail. It's not my fault if Gmail has sth. with sending the passcode. If you had expected such error, then why you provided us with this feature (step 2 verification)
Please help me with this because the final exams are going to start soon and I've a plenty of materials saved on this email.

I'm from Palestine .. Wallah this is so so bad and caused too many problems to me.
No one is repsonsing, I've been filling and submitting a recovery forms.
Do you think that there is a way to go ?!

I have contacted Jawwal they said they will look into it. Sameh what's the number the used to send the messages to us. this might help as i don't have it. please call me on 0599944330.

The error message you are receiving indicates that you should be generating a code on your mobile phone using the Authenticator App, and typing that code into the box.
Try clicking the "Learn More" to find out how to do that.

Sorry guys but if you have not filled in the account recovery form then you will not have your accounts cleared as they are needed for proof.
I am going to ask very nicely that you stop claiming you are Palestinian as though that means something special. I am an honorary Israeli with family and friends across the border from you doing my utmost to get you back on line.

I have filled the recovery form 3days ago. still no reply. I managed to report the problem to Jawwal through a friend. A Jawwal employee phoned me and told me that they contacted google regarding the problem on Sunday morning but still no reply from google.
I will update you if there is anything new.

First I said honorary Israeli which does not mean I am an Israeli. I have nothing against the Palestinian people but I do have against those who scream "I am a Palestinian!" and wave the flag as though they have a special privilege because of that. I have as much dislike of anybody no matter where they come from who waves the flag in this way. As far as I am concerned I am proud to be human and to live on a beautiful planet. None of the TC's could care less where you come from and the only thing that does matter to us is to help others as do most of the people who volunteer.

Google has no problem sending texts to any other suppliers except those that are being blocked by Government censorship as far as I know. There is no wish to block anybody in the world. I'll let you know if I hear anything.

الظاهر المشكله من جوال اخوي محمود, لانه انا حاليا عملت حساب جي ميل جديد وفعلت خدمه الكود السري لكن طلبت انها توصلني من خلال اتصال ووصلت, ولما طلبت انها توصلني من خلال رساله ما وصلت, هذه المشكله بلشت من لما جوال عملت تحديثات على النظام, في ناس ايضا عندهم مشاكل بالدخول على الفيس بوك الخاص فيهم انا اعتقد على الاغلب انها جوال المشكله, خصوصا انهم جوجل ردو علي مبارخ من خلال ال ايميل انه ما في مشاكل لكن راح احاول مره اخرى, ازا صار معاكم شيء يا ريت تبلغونا

Please verify this.
If I got the gist (rough meaning) of that you are unable to use Facebook either. At a guess you are being blocked from Social sites and since Google has Google + it is going to cause you problems.
If you are locked out due to having two step verification set up you should really disable this as soon as you can get into your accounts.
It would help if you were to give me translations into English so I can see what can be done to help.

Were you able to generate the code from the application? Can you receive a phone call with the pass code?
Are you able to receive SMS from other international destinations?
How long has this been happening for?
Please refrain from using Arabic. I can read Arabic but I can't translate it, nor understand it. I also wish that religion and politics should not be involved in this discussion because of different backgrounds people have. We're here to help whether you're a Muslim, a Hindu, Christian, Jew it an atheist or whatever.
Its a good idea that you have spoken to your operator. Is it possible for you to try accessing Gmail with another operator?

I have two accounts with Gmail and both have the 2 step verification setup to send Codes as Text to the same number and I have been able to log into one account that I do not use as it is connected to my primary account (which is UNaccessible).
I am receiving the same error as above. Since this account is used for my work I do need to access this asap! Please, please help resolve this issue.

I'm going to suggest you turn off two step until there is some sort of update to the system. Make sure to make your password as difficult as possible to guess.
