Hello Lucia - Good to have GEC back - Busy putting it through the mill - have not found any major bug so far. Lrae and his team have done a real good job. I think it was worth the wait. now waiting for it to get out of Beta.
All the best.

Hi Lucia and everybody else.
Now I understand why many of you changed your profile pics in Google+. Hmmm. Dilemma. I want to use the old seefit avatar here but I want to use my own photo in Google+ and I can't do both. Maybe I should paint myself blue!

Hi, Lucia, new forum will take in getting used too? No offense to Google but I would have like the old forum better, better yet have a feature where
one could switch to this new forum or go back to the old forum.
GEC community has been gone for along time, that I almost forgot to post stuff, but it all came back to me.
Nice to be back :-)

The old GEC is just a memory, or there are some web archival sites out there that you can find to hug the old favorite. But this is the new format that hopefully will last as long as the old girl did (9.25 years since it was purchased, may she rest in peace.)

@ Lrae, good, and thank you :-)

I have not been able to get back my old CuriousJM face I also don't see any link from where I can sign in using my old GEC User ID. I had to sign in through my gmail ID. Need help in resolving this. - Thanks

Hi, glad to be be back (current even in double! :-)
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.
Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts.
Things alter for the worse spontaneously, if they be not altered for the better designedly.
The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Hello! I'm just found this wonderful forum! I live in Italy!!! Hello world!

Hello back and welcome to the GEC!
Kiala, I love Italy and always enjoyed my time there. I spent a few weeks between Rome and Venice in 2011, and rode a motorcycle across Tuscany for two days. We stopped at San Gimignano and stayed in Sienna, before heading to Florence and then Venice. I really enjoy the people, the food, and country!

Kiala, I've made a quick My Maps Pro map of the two days on moto in Tuscany, and then created a KMZ from that, so you can see the map, or load the KMZ into Google Earth to check out the trip!
It was only two days, but a really fantastic two days! :) ..especially after I was able to reset the GPS on the second day so that it only suggested back roads (the twisty ones! :-D
