|I want to duplicate a form I created, How can I ?||iceq||7/5/12 1:10 PM|
Hi. I spent an hour creating a form, and now I just want to create an identical one with minor differences that I want to change later..
I wanted to duplicate it instead of creating the second one from scratch .. it is very weird this is not available !!
Any work around ?

Right click file name in Google Drive > Share > Email as Attachment to yourself > open file in Email > Rename > save to Drive

Thanx , but that would save the results of the form (the responses) in an excel sheet, not the form itself that I want to duplicate.

From view results you can just choose file, make a copy. The form is linked to the spreadsheet. You can then select all the data, and hit delete (dont mess with the headers though). We do this all the time for our eval forms (we use hundreds of eval forms for our institution)

Thanx Danmo. That is a good trick and its working fine. However it would be much better if there is a simple "duplicate" option that would allow the user to rename the new duplicate and clear the responses.

Hi, thanks for tips on forms. I am finding that when I want to add new questions etc, it adds it at the bottom of the form, and I move it to the right place, and when I see the spreadsheet, the columns are all messed up. How do I get it to stay in the same order as the form?

I am having the same problem. I would love a simple "duplicate" option that would allow me to create the same form with a new name and a new associated spreadsheet.
