Google Drive breaks right clicking on files and folders in Finder's column view. Finder needs to be restarted for function to be restored even if Google Drive is quit beforehand.
OS X 10.6.8

Same problem, OSX 10.6.8.
PM Finder -[TBrowserTableView itemAtRow:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1011f1390
Google drive 1.9.4536.8202
Is Google monitoring this? Or should we report a problem somewhere?

Hi all -
Thank you for your posts. The team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. In the meanwhile, please try the following workaround:
Hope this helps!

Wow this is a terrible bug! I'm glad to have found the "solution" here. Step 1 in Adah's post should read, "head to the Google Drive menu in the menu bar..." I didn't know what "menu icon" was intended and it took me a few minutes to figure it out.

If this is known issue, why it is not listed in known issues in
Wasted too much time figuring out why my mouse's right button stopped working.
If fixing this bug will take longer than letting people to know this bug, it would be wise to pull this update away and tell users which version to downgrade.
How widespread this problem is? Only OsX 10.6?

Waisted some time too… Tried to reset PRAM… which worked… as long as Google Drive was not restarted again ! Then found by myself it was OK with sync status out - quite strange.

Hey, mine has broken too - very annoying as I use it all the time.
I'm sorry I still don;t understand where i'm finding this 'Google drive menu in the menu bar'?
Could you please advise - or attach a screenshot?

He is talking about the menu bar at the top right of your screen. You should see the Google Drive icon. From there you can change the preferences

Yes, I have the same problem. There is a secondary problem that I think is related as well. If I double-click on a HTML document (to open in a browser), it doesn't do anything. I just verified it does work in the other finder views, just not in column.
Thanks for posting this. I thought I was going crazy!

No need to reboot the computer after unchecking the sync status preference in the Google Drive app. Just relaunch the Finder. To do that, press Command-Option-Escape. This brings up the "Force Quit" dialog with a list of currently running apps. Select "Finder" and the Force Quit button will change to say "Relaunch." Click "Relaunch," and the Finder will relaunch, with the right-click function restored. I'm sure glad I found this thread!

AH! I have been trying to figure out what was causing this glitch for ages!
|Re: Right Click Broken in OS X Finder.app||Seahawksean||6/10/13 4:05 PM|
For some reason Command+Option+Esc would open the force quit box but of course you can always choose Apple Icon>Force Quit as well.

FINALLY!!! A solution to this stupid problem. Been dealing with it for months now. Come on Google, you're better than this!
|Re: Right Click Broken in OS X Finder.app||Matthew Cooley||6/13/13 10:01 AM|
I've tried this "solution" with no luck. Tried checking, unchecking and checking again. Restarted the finder and the computer.
I am running 10.8.4 and now that I think of it, this might have popped up after I upgraded. Anyone else having this issue?
