|Can't get importRange to work with Query||AlexEmbryo||7/15/12 1:45 AM|
I'm trying to use query to define the range as another spreadsheet using the importrange function, but I get the error (column doesn't exist) on that table. What is the reason? I have tried to look the answer from this forum, but I havn't succeeded.
=Query(importRange("0AkMVQyM7UcFddFEwdnVIVXFCd3VOc2RKNmZJNnhnSXc";"'Kaikki tiedot'!A2:P100"); "select Col2, Col3",1)

there seems to be some error in sheet name the syntax has to be as follows:
=Query(importRange("SPREADSHEET KEY","SHEET AND RANGE"), "YOUR QUERY", NUMBER OF HEADER ROWS)

Let me add to what anandvarma has said ...
=Query(importRange("0AkMVQyM7UcFddFEwdnVIVXFCd3VOc2RKNmZJNnhnSXc";"Kaikki tiedot!A2:P100"); "select Col2, Col3",1)
and for the data as of noe, the resut will be:
Ikäkausi Seura C-tytöt seura A-pojat seura B-pojat C-pojat A-tytöt B-tytöt
Cloud Computing -- Google Docs Way

anandvarma and yogia,
I didn't try to change that one because in "normal" query function you need to use ' with the sheet name if it's more than one word. I was supposed that this can't be the thing..
Thanks a lot!
