How do I separat 300x250 inventory from 300x600 inventory using Google Publisher Tags? gr8trafficker 6/8/12 3:54 PM
On our site, we have some pages that have a 300x600, while others have a 300x250 ad slot, but never on the same page.
Prior to upgrading to GPT we used GAM Tags.
I had pages where I wanted a 300x600 creative tagged as:

School_Profile_Page_Overview_AboveFold_300x600

Pages that called a 300x250 were tagged as:

School_Profile_Page_Overview_AboveFold_300x250

Both ad units were rolled up into one ad placement name, called:  ROS ATF 300x250
GPT has the defineSlot parameter, [[300,600], [300,250]] that's now playing havoc with pulling inventory forecast.  Typically, the 300x250 results in much higher inventory than the 300x600, but now they're identical.

Do I need to have our pages retagged and inventory re-named so as to completely separate these two ad sizes?

Thanks

if it's messing with your inventory, then yes, I'd just use 2 separate ad units...you say they're never on the same page, so it sounds like it would be better anyway.
