Chrome icon on taskbar, can it show all open pages? MartinH 2/16/12 6:12 AM
Is there any way to get the Chrome icon in the taskbar to display all open pages when hovered over? For example, IE9 when you hover over it on the taskbar will show you all open pages, yahoo mail, ebay, national lottery etc. whatever you've opened up. The chrome icon only show the page you currently had / have open not whatever other tabs you may have opened.

not that i've ever seen. Certainly no tick box that says "let windows 7 treat all tabs as windows to show in Aeropeek"

Had a quick hunt through FireFox's options and found "show tab previews in the Windows Taskbar"

a bit more research shows this article that says it was available on one of the test builds a while ago

other articles like this one http://www.windows7.cc/windows-7-tips-tweaks/how-to-disable-tab-previews-of-google-chrome-in-windows-7/   seem to concentrate more on how to stop it happening (by running in windows XP / Vista compatibility mode)

aha! got it...
add --enable-aero-peek-tabs to the startup shortcut of Chrome
ie make it look like
C:\Users\T\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --enable-aero-peek-tabs
