No vertical scrollbar with dynamically added HTML MalSu 8/14/12 8:00 AM
Hello, I'm having an issue with the vertical scrollbar on Chrome 21.0.1180.77 and Chromium 18.0.1025.168 on Ubuntu Linux 12.04

I have a table that's dynamically drawn with n number of rows. When the rows exceed the the height of the page no vertical scrollbar is shown to view the bottom of the table.
I can see the elements in the html inspector, and manipulate their contents, but I can't scroll down to see them.

I've tried forcing the scrollbar to appear with

html{
  overflow-y:scroll;
}

This causes the bar to appear, but I still can't scroll down.

A curious behaviour is that when I'm testing on localhost this doesn't happen, but on a UAT environment (in this case a GoDaddy VPS) the issue presents itself.
Another curiosity is that when I'm testing on a VM (VirtualBox with W7) and the same version of Chrome installed its not happening. But on a non-virtual W7 and the same version of Chrome it does. This is true for both local and UAT.

The issue is persistent in the affected environments.

This issue is not happening in FF, IE7, IE8, IE9, Opera.

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

As another piece of information, this isn't happening when I refresh the page with the dev tools open.

Any attention to this would be greatly appreciated.
