| Google Chrome Helper using far too much CPU | Jinxi Zhao | 21/03/16 20:02 | When I use chrome on my macbook pro,the chrome always freezes.The whole system is freeze and macbook becomes hot.I open activity manager and find several google chrome helpers eating too nuch cpu .How did this happen?What can I do? |

I would suggest you try these steps: 1. Clear Cache & Cookies. 2. To free up memory, close out tasks (processes) in Chrome's built-in Task Manager. 3. If Chrome Helper is still using too much memory, try in Incognito mode. If you no longer see this issue, disable extensions one by one to check which extension is causing the issue. 5. If the above steps don't help, create a new browser profile.Also, you can try using Chrome Canary. It's a future developer version of Chrome with all the latest updates and features. It's possible the problem won't exist in a future version. Let me know if this helps. Regards, Edward |
