What's the issue you're experiencing?


All of my Google Places information disappeared. All of the pictures I had posted and all of my videos have disappeared.


I had 6 reviews and they have all disappeared as well. And I fell from a 2nd place in my keyword to 23rd place.


Also, it looks like I now have 2 places page for my Clearwater office.


the correct one with this address:

13620 49th Street North #201, Clearwater, FL 33762-3705 




And an incorrect one with this address:

13620 49th St N, CLEARWATER, FL 33762






When I click the link "Owner-verified listing" on the places page with the bad address it takes me to my dashboard where I see the correct Clearwater office listing and my Tampa office listing. But no listing for the bad address places page so there is no way for me to remove it. My Tampa office listing is unaffected.


I am most worried about my reviews (and of course my ranking) because I can replace the pictures and videos.

As for the reviews, see this post -- lots of technical issues with them right now:

If you're seeing a duplicate, use "Report a problem" on the listing itself and our teams can take a look. Note it takes *several* weeks to get these sorted, so you won't see progress right away.

Thank you for responding. The link you see my pictures on ( is for my Tampa office and I have not had a problem with this listing.

My Clearwater office location is the one I am having problems with. This listing has no pictures or reviews I cannot see this listing on my dashboard or I would delete it.

I have submitted a trouble ticket to have this duplicate listing removed.

The duplicate listing is showing up in position 9.

My real listing is showing in position 106! I was showing up in position 2 on the first page before. This is hurting our business.

Our reviews were all Google reviews and were valid reviews from my customers.

If my new customers submit a review to the bad listing (which shows up way ahead of my correct listing when searching) and it is deleted will I lose those reviews?

If I direct my prior customers to my correct listing and ask them to re-submit their reviews will I lose those reviews when Google fixes the Issue?

I understand that Google is having technical issues, but these problems are hurting so many small business owners who depend on Google Places to bring in new customers. These are tough times for small businesses and we too are a small business. Please help me with this issue if you can.

You submitted a ticket to the support team already? With the weekend, give them a few days to respond to you, they've got a lot of tickets to work through.

There's not much I can do to help here. Duplicates can take several weeks to merge, sit tight and wait for support to investigate and figure out how to fix.
