Edit: Troubleshooter's back! http://support.google.com/places/bin/static.py?hl=en&ts=1386120&page=ts.cs
The troubleshooter under "My listing has incorrect information" for Google+ Local support (http://goo.gl/6RYFm) is currently unavailable. It'll be back in about a week.
We're working on revamping and improving some of the troubleshooting processes we've got in place.
Don't worry -- the rest of the troubleshooter and the main channel for reporting incorrect information are still available. Here's the deal:
1.) Listing is live but has data issues/incorrect information? Go through Report a problem on Google Maps or Edit business details on Google+ Local. Requesting data changes through these channels is not automatic -- they are all reviewed -- so don't expect to see an immediate fix.
2.) "Do not support this location" issue? These listings will have a chance to be reviewed and reinstated, working on getting a better process in place. For now, review the quality guidelines and make sure the listing complies. Give it a poke and wait a few days. Keep an eye out here for when the support team is available again.
3.) Verification issue? Go through the troubleshooter as always -- that part is still available (http://goo.gl/6RYFm).
I'll update this post with more information as needed.

I've been a adwords customer for years. An adwords express customers since it was started as Google Boost. The way this problem has been handled is horrible. My places page has been stuck in "We do not support this location" for over 12 weeks. 3-4 weeks, then 6-8 weeks, no... now 13 weeks with no help. The wizards are no help... so now those have been turned off. I've submitted wizards, poked pages, posted in these forums, emailed google, talked to adwords reps, emailed with the places/local team. Still no fix, still nothing changed. No body has the desire or authority or know how to fix my issue.
This is the worst support and the worst experience I've ever had with Google.

I’m agree with you same thing happening with my listing backed in may and after few email Google support advise me to delete your listing from your dash board and recreate. I delete and recreate, re verify with new pin now more than two week and still showing same old error “currently we not support this location” I lose all about 77 my 5 star review which is earn from last 5year from my client. This cause me so much stress in last three month. I lose my business. Come on Google don’t kill small business.

I experience the same issue: Even though my listing has been live for quite a while now, my business suddenly has the "Do not support this location" - problem and does not show up in Google Maps anymore .
I have clients waiting to leave reviews for me for quite a while now and I dont know how much longer they wait before giving up with it. this is loosing me business and there is no way right now to inform Google about my issue as the report forms are not available and there is no email address or phone number for contacting Google.
I find this is the worst customer service possible. And looking around in forums it seems Google seems to have this "Do not support this location"-issue for a long time now without being able to fix it.
I just hope that the report-form will be back soon and that everything will be fixed. I'd never have thought that Google's customer service is so bad/non-existant.

Are there actually businesses who's listings are re-appearing due to your team's work and advice? There doesn't seem to be too much evidence of such success stories in these forums. Maybe you guys should be helping people to just cut their losses and re-create their listings on Google places. This would be better for business owners and potential customers, rather than see this eclectic mix of small businesses go the wall in the weeks and months it is taking you to "[get] a better process in place".

In the early days of this problem, Google was recommending that people delete their existing Places Page and create a new one. I have not heard a single story of that working and Google has stopped recommending that solution.
I did read a post today about a poke, edit and submit, bringing a listing back from the "Location not supported" message.

I use this option many time but still not working.

Pokes have not been working and I only have the one recent anecdote, but it is possible that things have changed under the covers or that pokes do work in some cases. It is worth a try. Just do it once though, repeated pokes are not likely to be more effective than one.

How do you 'poke'?
|Re: "My listing has incorrect information" troubleshooter temporarily unavailable||BrightonDogPhotography||7/17/12 3:31 AM|
You click edit on your listing address and then submit it wihtout changing anyhting. Been there, done that. No help. Does anyone have Google contact email or a phone number? Maybe from a former request with them, I really want to talk to someone there. They can't just not talk to their customers!!
This is seriously loosing me business, I cant believe Google doesnt seem to be interested in keeping people happy. And Jade wrote in her post that she will update this thread, but nothing new from her so far.

I agree and think that was bad advice for a few reasons. Plus it does not appear to be working and I suspect there is something permanent going on that's preventing new listings from going live at locations that were deleted.
I'm likely the person Jim referred to as far as having luck with a poke.
Here's the thing my poke was for a Dentist with a missing listing. It was a small data glitch. Pokes can help for that.
Pokes can also help for minor data issues, like if your live address doesn't match what's in dash.
Most of the guys suffering from the do not support location problems however, had their listings DELETED by Google due to guideline violations.
Either the hide your address rule for service area businesses or they were spammy listings with other violations.
If your listing was TOTALLY deleted, due to guideline violations - then a poke is not going to bring it back.
It does not hurt to try a poke if you think your listing is 100% compliant and it's maybe just something a little buggy.
But like Jim said, don't keep poking it and realize that if you are dealing with a take down due to violations you are just
pretty much out of luck right now. Google is having trouble reviving listings they removed but they say they are trying to fix the problem.
Wish I had better news or a magic wand. But that's honestly where things are at right now.
The troubleshooter is down while they catch up with the backlog of support issues. But once it's up again you should be able to request re-inclusion and see if they can help you revive your listings.

Thanks for all your posts on this subject.
If your listing was totally deleted/suspended would you have the typical red Needs Action Rejected or Account Suspended banner? Or have Google stopped these account messages due to being so backed up?
Just wondering what to look out for.

"If your listing was totally deleted/suspended would you have the typical red Needs Action Rejected or Account Suspended banner?"
Sometimes - but more often than not lately you just get the do not support location message instead. So click from inside dash to view on maps.
If you see the do not support location blank page you MAY be deleted or it just may be a syncing problem.
So to double check search on MAP for phone in this format (555) 222-3333. If you don't come up then you may be deleted.
You can check on MapMaker with same phone format and sometimes find you listing and sometimes in details/history see action that was taken.

You may remember my case history from others Threads. So what you think about my listing “Ezee Driving School” which is still show on Map maker but not any more in search form last more then 2 month.

I am not the only one having this terrible problem causing my business lost sales every week now. I used to have top A ranking up until 3 week ago i noticed no calls coming and now it's all gone...poof. my google map link says "we do not support this location" and i lost all my hundreds of external reviews gathered over the years.
I sure hope Google will do right by it's customers and users to help fix this business impacting issue for small local businesses.
here is email i sent them before...awaiting response. will let the group know if hear something back.
Hi Google Local Support,
Something occured which caused us to lose our Top A google map/place ranking and now we are not getting any phone calls from our Google Maps Listing. We optimized our listing before and all was good up until something changed e.g. the Google Place to Google Local + migration and a request to remove a duplicate listing before.
My business listing (bay area tree specialists, san jose ca) is not showing up like it used to.
This link with our previous CID (18344574838593180059) is not working - it says "we currently do not support this location".
I also noticed our new Google Local + page does not display any of the reference to external reviews it used to show e.g. insider pages (2), citysearch (113) etc. Now, it looks like a brand new listing. the back end google place dashboard is still 100% populated.
I have posted many questions on forums but not good suggest to fix this yet. Our business is struggling and this puts a lot of pressure when our phone calls drop during peak season.
Can you please review our listing and help us restore and fix this issue? i am told there is a local support phone number i can use for unusual cases....can i perhaps try that hotline?
please help us fix this.

Richard I've been attempting to help you in your main thread here: https://productforums.google.com/d/topic/business/ZAWaFtSQ4B4/discussion
No there is no phone support or hotline. And just saying "please restore" in the forum won't get the help you need.
You need to go through the support channel I explained in the thread above. That's the only way to get help.

I had confirmed my listing through the mail and it was appearing correcty, but now, inexplicably, the link to my listing says, "We do no currently support this location". I've read through the guidelines and in fact, I'm not in violation of a single element. I've done a lot of reading through this forum and others only to learn that thousands of businesses are facing this "blacklisting" of their business despite the fact they are legitimate businesses with legitimate addresses that are attempting to participate in now the world's most important business database. The lack of support and appropriate response is now well documented it appears. Do we beg for help? My favorite post on this topic is as follows:
Google says in its mission that it aspires to "do no evil". I would say that this level of gross negligence at such a massive scale is no less than evil. Please Google - minimize your atrocities. Please help me and the others that are victims of this gross ineptitude.

I too have had my business page say we do not support this location. Google verified that everything complies with their guidelines, said the issue is on their end, and they have no idea when it will be resolved. SERIOUSLY??? Meanwhile, my competition is still there....some of which operate out of their homes by the way. I have deleted my listing, created a new one, and received my new pin and it still does not work. This is soooooooo unfortunate for our business. PLEASE HELP US!!!
|Re: "My listing has incorrect information" troubleshooter temporarily unavailable||JoyHawkins||9/6/12 6:39 AM|
@atoutdoorlighting - whenever Google admits it's an issue on their end, there is very little that anyone on this forum can do about it, unfortunately. If your new listing complies and you've hidden your address, the only thing you can do at this point is wait. I would focus on building citations (business directories) in the meantime so that when it comes back your ranking will be better. I would try and get your customers to leave reviews on some of these sites for you as well.
