Hello, I just want to make sure that this company is adhering to guidelines the current way they receive their reviews. What they do is this. At the time the invoice is drawn up, the technician that is in the home hands them this form to their customer.
I can't link these pictures but here they are:
I've also attached the back part of this form which is the same as the link above but just in case you can't view the link.
I've read your review guidelines to me but would love a direct input.
Thank you in advance

Here's the policy guideline...
Don’t offer money or product to others to write reviews for your business...
Sounds pretty clear to me.

@keenan. Thank you for the quick reply.
Now what should I do with the information that I have about this company doing this process? How should I report this?

Holy crap, that's a lot of reviews for a plumber. I'm kinda surprised given the review filter that has been wiping out reviews left right and center. I'm assuming this is not your business right?
I can escalate it to Google to see what the recommended procedure would be to report a company that is doing this.

Thank you for the response. This is not my business but I was made aware by my friend that asked "Was this allowed" when he got this from roto rooter, I would love to know the "recommended procedure" as you stated.

I'm checking with Google to see what a recommended action would be here. Stay tuned...
I still can't believe all those reviews have stuck. Crazy...

I don't think there is a procedure. I suppose you could flag the reviews as a conflict of interest.

Wow! That's impressive. It'll take me a life- time to even get close to 50 reviews. Something is definitely fishy here.

I have another update from another business in the same area as this thread. Standard Heating and Air conditioning has come up with a way to get reviews based on a promise to give the charity you choose $25.
Although I really like the idea to reach $10,000 dollars in donations is this against Google's rule as well? Can something rule's be "bent" if it's for the greater cause? Maybe they should just remove the Google link and leave all the other sites.
Check out there website: http://www.standardheating.com/online-reviews-challenge/ ----> also here is a screenshot from their facebook page. I'm not trying to be a tattle tail here but would really like to get some feedback here about what's right and what's wrong.

Just clarifying that it is against our reviews guidelines to trade money for reviews, so, yes, this sort of solicitation would be against the reviews guidelines.

Thank you everyone for chiming in and making the review process clear as water to me.
