http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=181691 says "[You will have a conflicting account if] you started using a Google Apps email address before November 18, 2010 and signed up for any product outside of Gmail, Docs, Calendar, Sites, or Video with your Google Apps email address." My apps administrator is my brother, and I don't want to create a gmail address to 'resolve' this issue. I just want to leave things as they were. Would someone be so kind as to provide me with advice on how to do this?

the reason you have a conflict because you have a another Google account the same user name as your Google Apps user
