Redirects, iframes and subdomains jolumurcia 7/6/12 1:46 AM
Hi,

We're trying to use analytics tracking code in this special scenario and we're in real trouble, we'd appreciate any advice!

we've got 3 URL's:

1.http://www.visitelche.com/  primary domain, is not our web but we can tell the webmaster to change the code. They have a single URL analytics tracking code applied with their own account.
2.http://dedicadoati.visitelche.com/ subdomain, it's been automatically setup from the hosting control panel to point to another domain. In this case the webmaster cannot access or change the code as their control panel only allows to set the url and metas. This is the autogenerated html code, it seems it's using iframes to redirect.

</frameset>

3. http://www.elchededicadoati.com/ this is the destination of the redirect and our website. we have here our own analytics tracking code and we want to track all the traffic to here.

With the actual configuration all the traffic we receive from second url redirect is stated as referral. We want to be able to track all traffic details from that url but as I already mentioned above the webmaster can't change the code so he can't either place our analytics tracking code there in that subdomain...

Can you think of any workaround to get all the details of that subdomain traffic in the same analytics account of the third domain, as if all the traffic came straight to the third domain without redirects??

Thank you very much for your help!
