Event Tracking for an iframe when the content is from another domain Sammy_Analytics 3/1/12 9:42 AM
Hi Friends,
I have a ASP.net page which contains video link from a third party vendor. This is embedded in an Iframe.

I need to Event Track the click for the video each time using Google analytics.

When the video if embedded in an Anchor tag I am fine. But with Iframe we cannot capture the Onclick() event.
<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/XXXXX?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0"  width="200" height="113" frameborder="0" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen>

Please let me know if we have an workaround for this?

Do you have tracking code applied to the page that is being inserted via the iframe?
