I don't believe it is AdSense changing that code, in fact AdSense code is being changed so you woulkd be best to take the ads off for now whilkst you worrk out what is going on. Any alterations to the AdSense code can get your account banned

I don't think it has anything to do with AdSense - I don't use it on my site, and this is affecting anywhere I browse using Chrome - AdMedia Inline text ads are just covering the page, making page loading incredibly slow and navigation a pain, as every time I pass over a link with my cursor it pops up a Bing search box (and I don't have Bing installed as a search engine option) with a list of advertisements. All started in the last 24 hours. I've gone through all the various malware, adware scans I can and nothing's been found. It also isn't affecting either FF or IE, so it's specific to Chrome - so, for at least the moment, Chrome is no longer my default browser.

You could ask in the Chrome forum, they will probably be able to help. My own advice would be to temporarily turn off all your extensions / add ons ... if that solves the issue then turn them back on one by one.

Great suggestion as it turned out - took only a few minutes to discover it was the Click 2 Save extension - deleted it and no problems since. Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know, that's obviously on to avoid! I couldn't see it in the Chrome Web store but if thats where you got it from you may want to write a "review" :-) I do suggest only installing extentions from the web store as they try and keep the virus free ( I believe) and you can read other users reviews before installing.

It's not an extension that I remember installing or when I was looking at it could even see a reason that I would have - and a quick search suggests that it comes bundled as part of some downloaded software packages as an option - so it's possible I hit Continue rather than Skip on installing it along with something else - and, hmm... the only things I've installed in the last few days were iTunes and EverNote. Have to do a bit of digging.
