The responses they've gotten to this, just like some of their other unbelievably stupid ideas, clearly shows that this DOES NOT "enhance the experience" at all. It accomplishes nothing BUT making it less convenient, more difficult, UN-intuitive, and downright annoying, to accomplish what was and should still be a common, simple task. It annoys me every time I have to use it, which is often. And it reminds me constantly that the people designing this crap clearly do not use the site at all. They couldn't. If they did, they wouldn't be coming up with such garbage.
And has there been any indication at all that they might back down and admit that it's a total fail? Of course not. They're right, and the world is wrong.
