This week we're launching two new changes to playlists on YouTube that we hope you'll enjoy: a brand new playlist editing page, and a new feature that lets you customize the videos in your playlists' start and end times.
The new edit page makes it easier to move playlists in a list, add notes, and change the start and end times of the playlist. You'll notice that the description and privacy settings are now on the right side of the page, leaving more vertical space to see the videos in your lists and make changes.
Start and end times
When you choose start/end times, your playlist viewers will only see your selected portion of the video, unless they choose to watch the video in its entirety. To set a start and end time, go to the edit page of your video and click the start-end time icon beneath the add note button. You'll be able to use trimmers to select the section of video you want to use.
Let us know what you think of these features and if you have any questions!
